Internet Explorer 6: ActiveX UpdateMicrosoft has made changes to the way that Internet Explorer handles some content in Web pages. When Internet Explorer encounters a page with ActiveX controls (such as a media player or an interactive animation), the control may require a single click to activate. When your mouse hovers over the control, a tooltip will appear. Here is an example shown with Windows Media Player in a Web page:
This requirement to click to activate will happen each time you refresh or visit the Web page. If you are a Web site owner, you can rewrite your Web pages so that users are never presented with a tooltip or a dialog box. Learn how. |
