Pure Tools Save as IVP Format
  1. Next, open your retouched JPG panorama(s) in Pure Tools. Click on Panorama FileMaker.
  2. Next, select the 2nd icon from the left when it asks you what kind of project you want to use. This is the 360 X 180 link, or Cylindrical Projection.
  3. Open your JPG image.
  4. On a MAC you can hold down your Apple COMMAND Key and click your Mac mouse button. Look at the magnifying glass icon with the two arrows on top and below the magnifying glass. If you hold down mouse + command key and click UP or DOWN you can step into or out of the photo a little bit.

On the LEFT,see the Minimum and Maximum FOV numbers? The Min FOV is set to 40. The Max FOX is set to 140 by default. If you find that your tours are too far IN or OUT when you display them, then simply change the values. The Pan and Tilt on the top right side of your screen should NOT be touched or adjusted.

Change the Min FOX to a higher number like: 110, 120 or 130 and Max FOX to somewhere within 120 to 140. Then click APPLY. When your tour starts, this will look much better on playback. Do NOT click Lock Zenith and Nadir. Do NOT click Entry point.

Then hold down your mouse button and drag the panorama LEFT or RIGHT and look at how the room looks. Be mindful of the edges as you see the image disappear. The rule of thumb is you want to step INTO the picture just a little bit to get rid of the warp or fish eye effect on the extreme left and right sides.
  5. When you are happy with stepping into the photo, click the NEXT button bottom right of the screen.
  6. At this stage, look on the left column. Enable Auto Pan. Click that. Select the LEFT or RIGHT arrow depending on which direction you want the tour to spin. Click the 10 seconds box and make this 4 or 5. Click the NEXT button to continue.
  7. At this screen, on the left, please select Packaged IVP. then below that, select Pure Player for Java and Pure Player for Flash. If you want to create a self running CD-ROM, then select Pure Player Pro for Java and then select one of the GUI files in the pull down.

To view the sample tour, quit Pure Tools and find the html files that were exported when you saved your tour. Open up the Pure Player Pro html file and take a look at your tour.

If you want to edit this html file, add your logo to it, you can edit this HTML file with any HTML editor. We recommend DreamWeaver. (Mac or PC). Be sure to include all the files including the PurePlayPro.jar files, help folder, etc. All of these need to be on the CD-ROM root level.
Look at Sample 360 Tour file link for an example.
