Troubleshooting

Q: Why do I see a big seam when I render my FishEye images into a final tour?
A: Because you have not properly calibrated one of your images. When you load your images and the Exit header (Properties box) appears, make sure you calibrate one of your images before you auto stitch them. When you RENDER your files, chose SMART in the Lending method as opposed to Morph or Linear rendering. This will help eliminate the seam.

Q: Why can't my IVP files or QuickTime virtual tours auto spin?
A: Because you need to purchase the Immervision Tools Starter Toolkit. Cost is $34 and you can get it for Mac or PC by clicking here.

Q: I'm n a PC and I double click my IVP files. Nothing plays. What's wrong?
A: Nothing is wrong. IVP files cannot play automatically by double clicking them. To do this, you need this free player for Windows. Click here to get them free. There isn't one for Mac (yet) sorry.

Q: I have a few freezing issues on my computer when I render tours. I sometimes can't get the lens cap to show up either. What's wrong?
A: You need to check two (2) things.
1.) Make sure you have at least 1 Gig of RAM. Windows XP requires 512mb just to operate.
2.) You should have the latest patchers installed. The most current for both Mac or PC is 5.6.2 and the patches are available here. Click the Download Trial tab and scroll down to find the FREE patchers you can download. Be sure to restart your Mac or Pc once you've installed the patch.
